"A true Texan at Heart"
Born in Ft. Worth and raised in the small west Texas town of Dumas, William "Logan" Harben grew up in a time and area where there was never a dull moment. In early childhood, it was common growing up to leave the house in the morning and show up back to the house late for dinner. Adventures were a daily undertaking.
He graduated from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas and is a longtime teacher and coach who has always had a knack of telling motivational and inspirational stories. His story telling has led him to a new and exciting career of writing mystery/thriller novels blended with a bit of ghostly paranormal activity. William always wanted to share with others, his stories and adventures, and has published his first novel and is ready to be shared. William, now lives in the DFW (Dallas – Ft. Worth) area with his wife Lita, where they raised two beautiful and outgoing children.
William was always attracted to mystery thrillers, and as well, was intrigued with the prospect of the paranormal. William has authored "I’ve Been Waiting", a paranormal mystery thriller. He was able to create a unique twist to his first novel by weaving in thought provoking questions . . coincidence or paranormal? to his mystery thriller.
A mystery thriller novel like no other!
I started this book, "I've Been Waiting", over 20 years ago. I had this story to tell and over the years was able to put down into words the characterization of the story that involved relationships, mystery and a bit of coincidence or paranormal that keeps the story significant to the characters outcome.
I have been asked, where did you get your inspiration for the novel. I can tell you like many authors, this was not an 'epiphany" moment. This story was one that started almost 20 years ago, and has developed throughout the years. As the plot developed, the characters developed into their individual roles and own personas.
Like all of us, we spend time thinking about what things could have been or how the outcome could have changed. This novel, unmistakably, seemed to have developed its own unique ending.
